The Renewed Canadian Flag recognizes Canada's linguistic duality: French and English-speaking people together. French Canada and English Canada.
Le drapeau (TRCF) renouvelé reconnaît la dualité linguistique canadienne: le peuple francophone et le peuple anglophone ensemble. Le Canada français et le Canada anglais.
Approx. 25% of the border is coloured blue representing the francophones in Canada.
Environ 25% de la bordure est colorée bleue répresentant la francophonie au Canada.
The same symbolism as the Union Jack making our Maple Leaf flag even more beautiful than it is, all without losing our own identity.
Le même symbolisme que le drapeau Union Jack tout en rendant notre drapeau unifolié encore plus beau qu'il soit, sans perdre notre identité propre.
Secondly it also revives the notion of a strong united Canada: "from sea to seas", circa 1964.
Deuxièmement ça fait renaître aussi l'idée du Canada: magnifique, uni et fort "a mari usque ad mare", environ 1964.
This Duality Flag may one day become Canada's officially renewed Canadian Flag symbolizing "unity and harmony" on our national emblem.
Ce drapeau pour la dualité pourrait un jour devenir le drapeau officiellement renouvelé du Canada symbolisant "l'unité et l'harmonie" sur notre emblème national.
